By integrating Empower’s automation-focused EMR platform with Comprehend PT’s AI-driven tools—like real-time voice-to-text and smart note generation—clinics can dramatically reduce documentation time. This partnership helps providers stay efficient, compliant, and fully engaged in patient care.
To integrate Comprehend PT with Empower EMR:
- Open the Chrome Extension and start a new visit in Empower.
- Patient info and the correct template (e.g., CMS demo, initial eval, or daily note) will be automatically detected and synced.
- Click “Record” and conduct your session as usual.
- When finished, click “Stop” — the audio will upload and transcribe automatically.
- Click “Comprehend” to instantly populate your Empower note, including:
- Subjective/objective sections
- Special tests
- Goals and codes
- Dropdown fields and more
- Want to customize formatting? Manually update the note (e.g., from bullets to paragraph) and click “Learn” to teach the AI your preferred style.
- You can also pre-define style and language in the section instructions so your preferences are applied automatically.
- Use the built-in compliance checker to get a real-time grade and suggestions to ensure your note meets documentation standards.
