HelloNote is a cloud-based EMR and practice management system designed for rehab professionals—offering seamless documentation, scheduling, telehealth, and billing tools to simplify clinical workflows, support compliance, and improve the patient and provider experience.
Comprehend PT and HelloNote EMR collaborate to modernize clinical documentation and improve efficiency for rehab providers. By uniting Hello Note’s user-friendly, cloud-based EMR with Comprehend PT’s AI-powered voice-to-text and automated documentation engine, therapists can greatly reduce time spent charting and eliminate workflow bottlenecks. The result is faster, smarter documentation—freeing clinicians to stay focused on patient progress and delivering exceptional therapeutic outcomes.
To integrate Comprehend PT with HelloNote:
- Navigate to the patient’s chart
- Begin or open a daily note / evaluation session
- Click the Comprehend icon in Chrome
- Select “+” to start a new visit
- The extension will automatically detect:
- Patient name (e.g., Kenneth Clark)
- Visit type (or create one automatically if none exists)
- Click Record to begin capturing the interaction
- Speak naturally and include clinical details such as:
- Pain level changes
- ROM measurements and progress
- Modalities used (e-stim, laser, etc.)
- Exercise progression/reps/weights
- Functional improvements or limitations
- Allow the AI to listen while you treat, OR
- Provide a quick “brain dump” summary
- You may pause or resume recording as needed
- Click Stop when you’re done
- The audio uploads and transcript is created
- Recording is deleted automatically for HIPAA compliance
- Click Comprehend
- The AI will fill in all visible HelloNote fields including:
- Subjective complaint
- Objective findings
- Treatment activities
- Modalities
- Plan / next steps
- Scroll through the note to verify content
- Edit or add additional details if desired
- If you want to add more spoken data:
- Click Resume
- Continue speaking clinical details
- Comprehend again to update fields
- Confirm accuracy of all fields
- Save and complete the note in HelloNote
