This integration blends Practice Pro’s comprehensive EMR and practice management system with Comprehend PT’s AI-powered tools—including real-time voice-to-text and intelligent charting workflows. Together, they reduce administrative workload, improve documentation speed, and help clinicians stay focused on patient outcomes.
To integrate Comprehend PT with Practice Pro:
- Open a SOAP note in Practice Pro for your patient.
- Launch the Chrome Extension and click the Plus (+) Icon — this pulls in patient info, note type, and your SOAP template.
- Click “Record” and either document in real time or do a quick "brain dump" after your session (individually or in batches).
- When finished, click “Stop” — your audio will upload and transcribe automatically.
- Click “Comprehend” to auto-fill your SOAP note, including:
- Subjective updates
- Range of motion and test results
- Interventions and exercises performed
- Assessment (aligned with Medicare guidelines)
- Plan of care
- Need to add more? You can record additional audio anytime, and it will append to the transcript and update your note.
