This integration combines Prompt’s modern, intuitive EMR platform with Comprehend PT’s AI-powered tools—like real-time voice-to-text and automated note generation. Together, they help clinicians reduce charting time, minimize administrative burden, and stay focused on delivering exceptional care to every patient.
To integrate Comprehend PT with Prompt EMR:
- Open a note in Prompt as you normally would.
- Launch the Comprehend PT Chrome Extension — a streamlined version of the app designed to sit alongside Prompt.
- Click the Plus (+) Icon — Comprehend will automatically detect the patient’s name, note type, and scrape all relevant sections (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan, and Plan of Care).
- Click “Record” and proceed with your visit or perform a recap. The AI captures the entire dialogue in real time.
- When you’re finished, click “Stop”, then hit “Comprehend” — the AI will populate each section of your note directly in Prompt.
- Customize your subjective and objective templates to match your personal documentation style. Comprehend remembers your preferences and applies them automatically in future sessions.
- Additional fields like prognosis, patient education, and checkboxes (e.g., "choose all that apply") are also supported and auto-filled.
